چکیده
The length–weight relationship, length–length relationship and the condition factor values of Tench, Tinca tinca (L., 1758) inhabiting Sıddıklı Dam was described in this study. A total 102 specimens captured between September 2015 August 2016 were used to conduct For each individual, length (TL), fork (FL) standard (SL) as well body weight measured. Sex composition determined 49.02 % female, 43.14 male %7.84 undetermined sexes. overall sex ratio showed no significant difference from expected value 1:1. Total all ranged 5.9 38.6 cm 2.4 783.24 g, respectively. length-weight relationships females males W = 0.0068*TL3.232 (R2 0.991) 0.0084*TL3.157 0.997), Weight increased positive allometrically with for both sexes (b> 3, P< 0.001). mean female 1.305 1.330, This study brought first data about species literature.

Seasonal variations of proximate compositions and fatty acids of tench (Tinca tinca) captured from Seyhan Dam Lake were investigated. The results showed that seasonal fatty acid compositions of tench fillets in July, August and November ranged from 29.59% to 33.71% for saturated fatty acids (SFA), from 20.50% to 21.69% for monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) and from 26.50% to 41.85% for polyun...
متن کاملEurasian tench (Tinca tinca): the next Great Lakes invader
A globally invasive fish, Eurasian tench (Tinca tinca) is spreading through the St. Lawrence River and poses an imminent invasion threat to the Great Lakes. Following its illegal release into a tributary of the St. Lawrence River in 1991, tench has spread throughout the river’s main stem over the past decade, and its abundance in commercial fishing bycatch in the river has grown exponentially. ...

Lesions were characterized by the appearance of edema and epithelial hyperplasia and necrosis, both in cells forming part of the filtration barrie...
متن کاملUse of classification tree methods to study the habitat requirements of tench (Tinca tinca) (L., 1758)
Classification trees (J48) were induced to predict the habitat requirements of tench (Tinca tinca). 306 datasets were used for the given fish during 8 years in the river basins in Flanders (Belgium). The input variables consisted of the structural-habitat (width, depth, gradient slope and distance from the source) and physic chemical (pH, dissolved oxygen, water temperature and electric conduct...
